Brisbane Valley Rail Trail
Trail users should check the BVRT webpage for confirmation of closure details if they intend to use the trail between 24 and 28 August 2026. A section of the trail between the Borallon car park and the intersection with the Brisbane Valley Highway near Lloyds Road will need to be temporarily closed for one day during the week of 24 to 28 August 2026.

The Brisbane Valley Rail Trail is a recreational adventure trail stretching 161 kilometres. Visitors can go on a walking, bike riding or horseback adventure back to the late 1800s along the old Brisbane Valley Railway Line from Ipswich to Yarraman.
