Nam is a GP who grew up in Brisbane and SE QLD.
He’s previously worked in Ipswich and is a huge hiking enthusiast and lover of the outdoors. He loves the challenging hikes in remote areas and loves reading about plant life and local geology. Nam has taken many groups hiking in the past but nowadays hikes solo or just with a friend. Animal lover. Trail runner and poor tennis player with a love of sci-fi! His first hike was at the age of 10.

Simone Hubbard is the Vice President of the Ipswich Region branch of the National Trust of Australia (Queensland) and part of the team that brings you the iconic heritage event ‘Great Houses of Ipswich’. I am an Ipswich resident, artist and mum. I am constantly inspired by our rich local history, not only the built heritage but the people too. I want to know the stories behind municipal buildings, tiny cottages and beautiful (and not so beautiful) gardens and I want to find out about the everyday characters who have shaped my local community.

Shane Allwood is a wildlife, social media and events photographer who has spent countless hours capturing Ipswich’s bird life and thus knows a thing or two about the best places to find them. 

When not climbing mountains on two wheels, Rochelle can be found on the hunt for the best almond croissant around town. A lover of good coffee, food and wine, and with a passion for travel, Rochelle is always on the lookout for new adventures locally and abroad.
