Dog friendly venues in Ipswich

Whether your friends are two-legged or four-legged, here’s an epic weekend idea for you to enjoy.

And here's how to plan the paw-fest dog friendly stay.

Start with an afternoon at Imbibis Craft Distillery

Imbibis Craft Distillery

Ipswich’s only gin distillery, Imbibis, is dog friendly and a great location to start the weekend at! Relax on the chesterfield sofa and sample one or all of the many different gin flavours.  You can also take a distillery tour from 2pm.

Follow with dinner at Stony Creek Brewing

Pumpyard Bar and Brewery

Head to Stony Creek Brewing for Friyay feels, a feed and some frothies! Explore the range of craft beers all brewed onsite in the 100-year-old brewery or taste the multiple drool-worthy items on the menu - I’m looking at you, cob loaf! Sit in the laneway where pups are welcome. Be sure to check out the building the brewery is situated in - it is located on top of Ipswich’s first water source, and to this day remains the local watering hole.

Enjoy breakfast at Claire's Wholesome Kitchen

Raw Energy acai bowl

Waking up and needing a refresh? Take your mate and head straight to Claire's Wholesome Kitchen in Springfield! Order a smoothie for a fresh buzz to kick start the day. On offer is a wide selection of all day breakfast, smoothies, freshly squeezed juice and energy bowls.

Insider tip: the Flex Appeal super smoothie is a must try! Take in the fresh air as you relax atop the hill, overlooking the Orion Lagoon.

Take a morning walk at Robelle Domain

Robelle Domain

Robelle Domain Parklands is nearby and consists of connecting footpaths and boardwalks. Get lost amongst the gum trees with your pooch and listen to the trickle of water running through the rocks. There are also barbeques and a water play area.

Lunch at Rafter & Rose

Rafter and Rose

Once you finish exploring, drive to Rafter & Rose for lunch.  Try some of the fresh pastries on rotation, sit with your pup in the lush plant-lined corridor outside or relax inside with a book. The food is presented almost too good to eat - though once you smell the flavours it’s hard not to dig right in.

There are a a few dog friendly Airbnb's you can stay at in Ipswich including Ruth's Cottage.  Spicers Hidden Vale and Tallavalley B&B are also pet friendly.
