Next time you're considering weekend entertainment options why not put some axe and knife throwing into the mix. It might just be as satisfying, stress-releasing and flat-out fun as any adventure sport or mountain hike.

Rampage Axe Throwing opened at North Booval in early 2023, tucked in behind the Rage Cage Smash Rooms that opened a few months earlier. Owner Matthew Pendragon is no stranger to unusual entertainment venues, with another Smash Room and Axe Venue in Slacks Creek, well established. He is also an avid axe thrower and competes in a leagues throughout Brisbane.

Matt has recently introduced a mobile side to the business call Riot Mobile Axe Throwing, where they bring the throwing lane to you.

So what happens in this venue, you ask? Smashing question. Axe throwing is a sport that involves throwing axes at a wooden target. It's a chance to unleash some energy and competitive spirit.

The venues are for adults aged 18 and over, or minors aged 12 to 17 accompanied by an adult.
